I had my surgery 18 months ago and i do get stinging and tightness around my scar area. I am putting it down to everything knitting back together. I get headache quite frequently but nothing too unmanageable. 2 years seems like a long time but it is a big operation, i am thinking things still settling down. I hope your MRI shows everything's ok. Mine next one is due in January. Good luck! And try not to worry.

I had a tumour removed from frontal lobe by professor Coakham at Frenchay. He was fantastic with understanding, explaining the very complex op, etc, & saved my life as i had about a year left before i would die without surgery. That man should be given a salary the size of Wayne Rooney! Prof Coakham is a wonderful person who puts his patients first... unlike some doctors (at Southampton General) I saw who wrecked my life by just passing me off with an "oh you're imagining it" attitude. Thank god for professor Coakham & Frenchay in 1994. I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for him.
