I have size 7.Getting sandals to fit is even more of a problem now.I know what you mean a about being frumpy and stylish. When summer eventually comes here I willl be looking for some nice sandals I can stagger along in that actually go with my dresses and skirts.

to silkwood, regarding my last message.....if you decide to buy these sandals, i would advise getting a larger size ( which they do ), i take a 5 and had to return them for a larger size

Hi twinkletoes, just looked at the sandal and they do look really nice and stylish. Can I just ask how narrow is the wedge on the floor ? and I have never managed to walk in shoes without an ankle strap or heel area with strap across the front. Did you have the same problem before trying these shoes?

hi wibblywobbly,

i can only guess that the narrowness of the wedge is about 1 inch but i did find them really easy to walk in.

i do understand about not being able to walk in shoes without an ankle strap, but my advice would be if you like these shoes, why not treat yourself and get them, try them in the HOUSE and if you dont feel these shoes are right for you, then you can return them, so long as its within 14 days and they have not been worn OUTSIDE.

good luck whatever you decide
