Hello Scorpio

I'm no expert but I don't think vitamins hurt you, so what you take won't do any harm. Probably the reverse. In fact I have been to take calcium.

Take care

I take Turmeric and Omega 3 and Q10 when I remember!

A few years ago I found this article which is quite good at the beginning and is by a doctor from the NAF

ataxia.org/pdf/DrSusanPerlm...

This is probably the key point though

Supplements Used in Neurologic Disease

PICKTWO:

Vitamin E 400 IU per day

Vitamin C 500-1000 mg per day

Vitamin A/beta-carotene are not recommended.

Coenzyme Q10 600-1200 mg per day

Omega fish oil 2000 mg per day

Creatine 5-10 grams per day

N-acetylcysteine 1500-3600 mg per day

Selenium 200 micrograms per day

Hope it helps

After being a participant in a CoQ10 and vitamin E trial over ten years ago, I still take them now. I am convinced they help with speech, swallowing and energy. Moreover it feels positive to be doing something proactive. As CoQ10 especially is so expensive in the UK, I buy it from the US uing webvitamins.com.

I also take codliver oil.

Hello,

I sleep really poorly and get really painful foot cramps (and sometimes calf too) at bedtime. I've found that magnesium does wonders. Omega 3 I also take.
