NEED A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS

I'm a 68yo disabled Vietnam vet and how lucky I have the VA they've been good to me. Now if I could stop falling with my CEREBRAL ATAXIA. I been doing some studian on RITALIN for different reasons 1. I keep falling asleep no matter the time of day. 2. I have had ADH

D before they knew what it was. 3. Studies have shown that older people (elderly) could be diagnosed with ADHD. 4. It has been reported the the drug RITALIN has helped with improved BALANCE but doesn't work with ADDERALL just RITALIN. My question is, if any of you are prescribed RITALIN and has it helped with all of the above. Please share any information if you have. Stay strong an thank you...

🤔 I’m a member of several Ataxia Support Groups, and I’ve never seen posts relating to Ritalin and ataxia.

Copied from nationalmssociety.org

Methylphenidate (Ritalin®): A central nervous system stimulant that has been used to treat MS-related fatigue. The usual effective dose is 10–20 mg early in the morning and again at noon. Those individuals who experience little or no fatigue in the morning can take a single dose in the early afternoon.
