Hi

Wondering if anyone has or have used a life glider? They look great letting you stand and move around ( hopefully) safely

Dear Maryrose46, I was wonderinbg the same thing, as I've been looking at them online! I talked with my neurologist about getting a Life Glider, but he recommended another type rollator (I don't remember what it's called...,?). No matter, as I may order one anyway to try! Hopefully it'll work for ataxia. Also, I did email the company about using it for ataxia, but unfortunately I never heard back. A Life Glider is pricey, about $695 + $25 for delivery here in the United States (where I live). It's not covered by Medicare, although I don't know about any other insurance. My best to you..., ;o)

Thanks february

I’m quite a stubborn mule, and do and use what suits me. I like the look of this, I hardly ever walk now through fear. I’ve broken both my ankles twice over the years. A OT advised me not to use a 4 wheeled rollator but to use a 3 wheeled one, I nearly broke my neck as they are so unstable. So much for listening to the “ expert”

I live in the Uk and they will ship here. I’ve watched You Tube and really want the advice of a fellow Ataxian. I know we’re all different and what works for you may not work for others , but I’d love to hear others opinions
