Has anyone tried Riluzole? This medicine has passed phase III clinical trial.

Only that it seems a little expensive.

Or Citalopram, this medicine has passed animal experiment (ready to be on clinical trial) but it is much cheaper.

I’ve been using it for several years since the original Italian research was published. It is used for ALS normally but supposedly has shown it can slow SCA progression. Have discontinued at times to note any difference but unable to determine given the slow changes in my condition.

Sorry, it’s Riluzole and I pay around $40 for a months supply of two tablets per day.
