SOMETHING TO SHARE

At our recent support group meeting I learned of a simple thing to carry a cup/mug of hot liquid. I bought some silicone discs off Amazon for about £5 and they are amazing and I no longer spill half of my mug of tea on the carpet!

They simply fit over the top to create suction and are easily removed.

I may be preaching to the converted and some of you may use something else but I thought others might find them helpful.

Let's try and share stuff that we find helpful in making our lives that little bit easier.

That’s great. I’ll order some now! Do they have a particular name? I’ve been looking on Amazon but I’ve not seen these. 😃

I've copied the details for the ones I bought.

Hope this helps:

Thanx 4 sharing. Now can you help with my vision?

I know what you mean Neta, I had to pack in driving a few years ago and just to rub a bit salt in the wound, my mobility worsened. Still, looking on the bright side, I think of all the money saved in petrol!

Thanks for replying. Sorry about the car. What is your vision issue??

Double vision mainly, particularly when looking to the side(without moving my head). Also things that I look at seem to move before settling down, I can't focus on one spot and can't focus at all when trying to walk.

Hi philyerboots.

What a brilliant idea.

I have just ordered some. I am aBIG tea drinker and am fed up of spilling so much.

Sounds great, but when we're talking about not spilling a drink I always talk about my Incredible Spillnot. This is a US device and was very expensive in the UK, but I see they are less than £23 on Amazon now. This works unbelievably well, I have only had one spillage in the last year and a half.
