Since than I'm still able to walk with a single stick, but now I walk with difficulty with the help of four-frame walker.

🙂 We adapt as required don't we😏 Just this weekend my husband convinced me to try something and saved himself some money😉
I'd been complaining about my rollator. There is a noticeable difference in fluidity of gait between me using the rollator, and pushing a supermarket trolley🤔
Eventually we narrowed the field by weighing up not only how much sturdier the supermarket trolley is but also the height of the handles. My rollator is called 'Let's go out' by Trust, it's very lightweight because I bought it before symptoms worsened😏
I was deadset against raising the handles because I thought that with the rollator being lightweight stability would be compromised. 😊It worked out better than anticipated. Previously I'd been hunched over, unaware that my iron grip was actually causing a lot of the instability🙄 There is a bag to attach under the seat, I may try putting some weights in it🙂
Now, I just need something to 'earth' the rollator, I keep getting electric shocks 😂xBeryl
Hi latan, like you I had prided myself on the fact that I was okay getting around with a walking stick. After several years I have had to give in to the fact that this is no longer enough for me, I was feeling unsafe. So I have had to bite the bullet, so to speak, and get myself a 'walker' (4 wheeler). My Mum had one, for a different reason, and she called hers her 'Rolls Royce': good name for it I reckon. If you ask for your Rolls Royce people are none the wiser, just think you're asking for your car. Keep 'em guessing eh! Stay happy and keep smiling. Barbara.
