Reasearch medical marihuana for ataxia

Hello.

These times of news sharing it is hard to not notice all the videos and reports on what tremendous effects CBD oil and cannabis has on different neurological diseases.

Numerous report it has stopped life threatening seizures, some reports claims very positve effect on parkinson's and i have even read some places people with MS benefit from it.

I´m very curious if there is some trials or reports with cannabis in treating ataxia as I have seen none. Maybe some members here even tried it or have some hand on experience.

Thank you very much

Hi there, I have SCA 1 and use CBD oil which I have researched and certainly have noticed a difference. Sadly it has been taken off sale as one of the greedy drugs companies has taken it on licence, but I have still found some on Amazon. Be careful of the type if buying. I use Charlottes Web.

Good luck,

I suffer from late onset ataxia due to head trauma. It has been my experience that cannibis has helped with muscle spasms, depression, insomnia and digestive ailments. I am fortunate to live in a place that it is legal and openly discussed. Doctors of all types need to be made more aware of the benefits of this medicinal treatment.

I like indica in pill form. I find the effect the longest lasting and most cost effective. When I can afford it I take daily. I don't know where you live, but google harborside health center in Oakland California. They have an excellent website with a wide variety of products.

Yes I am using hemp oil and seem to be getting a good result. I am a nursewho is still working part time. I have SCA 1. I do a daily rrigorous exercise regime which seems to limber me up and take hemp oil 3 drops 3times perday. My Neurologist is aware and isdelighted with my activity level.
