at long last been seen by the ataxia clinic, seen a lovely lady doctor and have now had confirmation i do have ataxia i can now get some additional help from specialist physiotherapists and speech therapists so excited.

That's good to know Getting diagnosis can be in some ways a major step

forward if you've been trying to get help for a long time, it does open other

doors. xB

It's a real relief to know what is wrong and to get all the help you can get. I have just watched the film about Stephen. Hawkin and it made me feel how lucky (if that's the right word?.?) not to have what he has got There are obviously times when you don't feel positive but try your best and I am sure you will get by

Thanks Ted always say there is some one worse than me, i am really very lucky the haemorrhage could of killed me or worse left me locked in.

Hi Xray, nice to hear that you have eventually got diagnosed and you now know what you have got, how long did you have to wait for tests and results? . I see others mention SALT , what is that ?

I have been trying for 18 month's eent on Wednesday Dr needs to get my scans and notes from lricestrr and Notts dhe will then csll me back possible for another MRI scan your just a chat butbi eill be going to see nurse
