Hi folks I got prescribed fostair as a preventer for flare ups I thought the doctors were trying to finish me off I had every side effect on the list.
So now on the seretide it’s early days with it but so far so good!
I’m breathing again had the best nights sleep I’ve had since Christmas it’s been a cruel winter for me this year but hopefully on the mend and when the weather mends I can get out on my bike for some well needed fresh air

Hiya 😊 sorry to hear that you had not great experience with Fostair inhaler. I had some problems when started using it, but after couple of days it was ok.
Now when I have pain when coughing and I use it, it will go away not long after I took it. I take it daily.
But happy that you have found the one that works for you. Stay safe and keep warm 🍀🍀🍀
I'm glad you got that sorted and are now much better. Definitely good to keep trying different meds until you find the best for you. Enjoy your bike rides, especially now that spring is in its way.
I had an allergic reaction to F: my face got swollen and I could not open my eyes in the morning. I've never had a reaction to any inhaler before (tried ~10), and the swelling went away as soon as I discontinued F. A consultant at Glenfiled has switched me from seretide (which worked for 15 years) to F, and when I complained about the SE she was unreachable. So I begged the GP to keep proscribing the Seretide; so far so good.
