Asthma exacerbation

I went for a run in the very cold weather on Tuesday and forgot to wear a buff to cover my mouth. When I got back my windpipe felt sore and I had to take my inhaler.

I’m still feeling a bit wheezy a few days later.

Anyone had this experience that lasted this long? I’m on Fostair and have started add in an extra puff.

Maybe you need to take more of your ventolin when symptomatic? At the moment I mean. Am assuming you had a couple of puffs at the time but nothing since (from what you've written)? If so see if ventolin helps, might just be a bit more fragile at the moment. If it continues phone your GP. If the ventolin isn't lasting 4 hours then call 111 sooner.

Thanks. I’ve just had a nap. I feel like I’ve got a bit of a cold so will keep an eye on things. Def will take ventolin - just feels a bit tight and croaky in my throat and upper chest
