I was on seretide for many years and it did t control my asthma. I got switched to symbicort and respimat. That seems to be the usual next choice. 😁

I think it will depend on the whole asthma/maybe post covid stuff. If it's post covid stuff then it maybe is ok. But if not possibly (that's really not helpful, sorry!) But the AUK nurses might be able to help?

Definitely time to discuss a change in your asthma treatment plan with your asthma nurse and/or doctor. There are various inhalers available that could help you. Trial and error will identify the best for your circumstances. Asthma UK nurses can take you through your options if you want to prepare for your appointment with your own health care team.

I have been on Seretide for a while. At first it seemed to work so well... But later on I realized it wasn't doing the magic for me and almost changed to Fostair inhaler but the reason why it was not working well was because I was using it as a rescue inhaler when it doesn't work this way. When I learned about this from friends here, I use it in the right way (before I get any serious attack instead of after ) it's okay for me for now.
