Apparently some inhalers will cause reflux in some patients as they smooth muscles that also control the opening between the oesophagus and stomach. It's a chicken & egg scenario as reflux can irritate the airways and trigger asthma. I get reflux at times, but I put it down to other non-asthma meds. I use antacids when necessary. However, you may need to gargle and rinse after each morning and evening dose to ensure that the medication hasn't got time to affect your throat area. If this doesn't work then I would try a different combination inhaler.
