For 3 years my asthma was bad and i needed steroid tablet course every few weeks or so.I was on powder inhaler relvar then Trelegy but they did not seem To work.I Went to NHS Breathing clinic and after lung tests i was put on fostair powder inhaler. When i got medicines home i noticed my pharmacy Had given me Fostair pressurised inhaler by mistake.I decIded to try for a month and i had felt the best i have for years. So i asked clinic To keep me on Fostair 200 pressurised inhaler. Now 3 months later i average 450 on peak flow and have not needed steroids. I am not sure if the fostair powder inhaler would have worked , but i am not changing now.Hope this helps Someone.

Thanks, I know I need to change my inhaler, it’s not quite working now after years of use. It’s a bit scarey changing, so its good to have a recommendation. I’m on Seretide 250 for now.

yes its scary changing. fostair is 2 puffs twice a day and is working well for me. Maybe the pressurised inhalers suit me better.I am on fostair 200 not the 100
