Ventolin and diarrhea

Ive been using ventolin for breathing problems for years. Now I need to use them more. When I use them I get very very diarrhea a few hours later. Has anyone else had this problem?

I know a child that had this issue for a few years with a longer-acting form of the drug, taken twice daily. The child in question had a very sensitive bowel, which was reacting to very, very small amounts of the drug making it to the bowels.

Thank you for that information. Ive left a message with the asthma charity nurse to ring me back. As you can imagine its hard to know what to do if you are very breathless and coughy WITHOUT ventolin but glued to the toilet with it.
