Clenil modulite

Well - my Christmas’s have all come at once!!!

Opened a new inhaler - to find they have now put a counter in the inhaler chamber (the brown bit at the back) ... I’m sooooi happy!! Does anyone know if they’ve done the same to the ventolin yet?

Ok so I’ve been using this inhaler for a couple of weeks and only just noticed!!!

They so need to do this with Ventolin/Salbutamol. I have always believed it is incredibly dangerous being a reliever inhaler that you don’t know how many doses are left! The shake and guess is just not acceptable in this day & age. Good shout there Clanger49. 👏🏻

I haven’t ordered a new ventolin yet. (Luckily I don’t use the blue that much) but I will be eager to see a similar thing on the back of it - I current use a knitting row counter!

That seems very organised 👍🏻

I’m told I am very organised with a touch of ocd ..... I prefer to think that my brownie training has served me well ...!

Never underestimate quality Brownie or Girl Guide training 🎉🙌🏻👏🏻. I frequently refer to earning brownie points 👍🏻 ☺️

Absolutely I was a brownie and a brownie leader of nearly 10 years. I have two spacers with ventolin. One for work and one for going out.

Be prepared!

I've a counter on mine too and it is excellent. I read (possibly here on health unlocked) to keep the inhaler in the cardboatd box and track your usage on the box as it's easy to see if you've taken it or not. I also find taking it at 8pm means by the time I go to bed it's already working and I don't cough when I lie down.

I take mine 8 am and 8 pm. Thought I’d read it should be 12 hours apart if you take it twice a day. Up until no I’d been changing every month regardless - now I can wait until it really needs to be changed - win win! Less waste and I know it’s actually got the stuff in it!!

I have a counter on my forstair but not on my ventolin I’m with you I think they should be on all of them

I’m going to have to order a ventolin soon and will check to see if the counter has been included. - it’s not been on the clenil in the last two years I’ve been using it - it’s such a nice ‘Xmas prezzie!’

In the USA there is a counter on Ventolin.

Interesting to hear it is possible 🤞🏻

Maybe our local chemist has changed suppliers? I’m uk based. The packaging just says the uk manufacturers. Fingers crossed they’ve extended the USA version to over here.

I've asked about this, apparently there's no plan to put a counter on Ventolin. Son has a Clenil with a counter :( I wish there were. Agree with Echoblue on this one.

in reply to Elspe

That’s stupid. If they can put it on one, surely they can put it on the other - after all the difference in shape between the blue and brown covers is minimal.

Hi Clanger 49

Yes I noticed they have changed the Clenil modulite when I got a new inhaler last month, I think it's great at least now you can telliot how mucheap you have left.

Not sure about the ventolin ones as not needed a new one yet as I have 2 blue ones on the go.

in reply to Destiny10

According to a previous reply these no plan to modify the ventolin 😢
