Hi Mackenzie 12

Your symptoms sound very like post nasal drip which I have. It is treatable with steroid nasal spray and douching your nose. I been prescribed dymista but there is other ones you can try.

I would go to your doctors and talk over your symptoms.

Yes! Get a stream of thinnish mucous almost constantly, but very few other symptoms; diagnosed with late onset asthma and moderate/severe fixed small airways obstruction. Inhaler improves lung function but not mucous production; you could try montelucast, but I find it makes me drowsy so just put up with the mucous.

I take monkelaust (for my allegic part of my asthma) at night and it doesn't give me any problems.

I’m so sorry to hear how bad you’ve felt and I hope the ct scan results have helped you not to worry.

I also have montelukast which helps.

Do you take antihistamines? Maybe they’d help to cut down allergic response. My throat clearing increases a lot when I’m being triggered off by allergies.

Post nasal drip is very common and it is often something you just have to live with. Discuss it with your GP and include your general health as you seem to be very anxious.
