Loved the idea of colour coding my peak flow monitor, easy to read: so got inspired - as I was rewriting my asthma plan for folder and hated the pic, and thought, I wanted positivity when I need to refer to it, so I cut out some favourite pictures (I sail & love the sea), and glued them on. Now I feel less of a victim and more in control of this illness; with the all important info for me and family and medical people, understanding and easy reference when I'm not at my best. Had anyone else done this?

Glad you’re feeling more empowered about your condition! I haven’t done the pictures myself however it’s a great way to remind yourself (and your docs) that you are more than a pair of lungs which don’t work properly ☺️
I do have my own 4 page summary with everything the docs need to know on it (from personal details/history, to meds, allergies etc, to pred/AB history and appt/admission record (when/where/who etc) and how I present/what treatment usually works best etc) . Docs/ambo tend to love it cause they can get everything they need easily without worsening me (ie questions when I can’t breathe) plus there’s less risk of things being forgotten (my brain has a habit of forgetting 1 med every time I’m asked to list them verbally, however the one I forget always changes 😂)
