Hylogy portable neb: anyone used it?

I came across a Hylogy rechargeable portable mesh neb while searching for a portable neb. Lots of good reviews on Amazon saying it's small and quiet, which is what I want - but seems to cost much less than other portable mesh neb machines! Not heard of the brand before - new to home nebs myself but know others with them, and read posts on here.

Wondering if anyone had used this brand? I have a standard compressor one on loan from the hospital, but wanted to get a small portable one in case I need it at work - not on maintenance but using as needed.

Never heard of it myself , I use a Phillips portable neb

Is that a good one? I have a very noisy non-portable Innospire on loan.

I have an omron one at home which is bit too noisey and Phillips portable which is very quiet , u need to charge up to use but cannot use while plugged in but very good , neither were too expensive

I have not heard of it myself. Just wanted to advise you that the quiet ultrasonic nebulisers are great for Ventolin/Salbutamol, but if you ever need to nebulise steroids, or antibiotics which are a thicker medication, then you need one with a compressor. I am aware there is a very expensive one you can buy privately, more than £500 (but cant remember the make. Be wary, Can you get spares and where from?

Thanks! I'm very unlikely to be using either (somewhat steroid-resistant and not overly prone to infections) but will remember if needed.

Yes. Very often the cheaper nebuliser systems use non-standard nebuliser medicine cups, hose, and mask,so check that the ones used are standard or where can spares be obtained from, and spares may be available now, but will they next year?
