I've just come off a short course of prednisone following an attack. Everytime I try to fall asleep I experience hypnagogic jerks (gasp for air) which send me into an anxiety/panic attack. I've tried allsorts to calm myself down but I'm not getting any sleep. Has anyone else had this? Any tips to deal with it or will it go away on its own? My lungs are clear now and everything else has checked out ok.
