Still not recovered !

Hi,

I had a couple of very serve asthma Attack 7 weeks ago and nearly ended up in intensive care a number of times. The thing is I am still not right I am seeing my consultant every couple of weeks and be monitored very closely. I am extremely frustrated I would really like to get back to normal and struggling.

Hi I'm sure you will be fine, it takes time to recover from these attacks. You get plenty of rest and that will help your recovery. Please keep me updated on how you are doing and take care.

Hi, I had one 4 weeks ago and still struggling. I’m normally a very active person full of life but the last few weeks I’ve done nothing but sleep and even only minor activity leaves me breathless and completely worn out. I’ve never had a severe episode like this so I’m incredibly frustrated.

I did start a LABA a few days ago and can now manage more activity which I’m delighted about but I am still so far away from where i am normally at and I’m fed up of people saying “it’s to be expected.”
