I was put on prednisolone for 8 weeks at 10mg a day. I had a unusual flare up of asthma so the doc says take 40mg for 5 days then taper back down to 10mg a day. It's been 3 weeks now and my face is starting to look like a pizza with acne it's annoying to hell out of me. I usually have a clear ish complexion now people are asking why my skins so bad and getting me down. Has anyone had a simular experience? I'm currently sitting here with a face mask the misses has put on for me haha. Thanks

I'm having exactly the same problem as you! Been on pred now for three months and never suffered with acne before but it's come out full force!

I've found just washing my face twice a day with Simple facial scrubs and just turning up the shower super hot to try and steam out your skin really helps! Sudocrem all over the face at night is a god send too (plus it gives your partner a good laugh before bed when you slap it on as thick as possible!)

Good luck and hope it settles soon :)

Haha thanks for that. I'd never of thought of Sudocrem. Iv had many a course of pred before and never had a heavy breakout. To be honest being on 10mg a day doesn't seem to be doing much might see the doc about coming off it.
