Hi does anyone on here use CPAP for sleep apnea due to their asthma and has it helped them?

hi, I use CPAP for sleep apnoea not my asthma, but on Friday I went to stay with my son and didn't take the CPAP with me - for the first time since diagnosis I was really struggling overnight - so I can only assume that the CPAP had been helping!

Hi Ali

I had not slept properly for over 12 years.

Felt like the walking dead.

I didn't make the connection with asthma but have been asthmatic all my life so that could be why.

I was finally diagnosed with sleep apnea and given a CPAP and it changed my life.

It is just air blowing at you at night: no drugs.

Difficult to get used to the mask but persevere as the benefits are just magnificent.

I have so much more energy now.

Never drop off to sleep the minute I stop doing anything.

I dont over-eat all the time for energy due to chronic fatigue so I lost loads of weight.

I feel more positive and sleep through the night without going to the loo every couple of hours.

Just a fantastic thing!
