Does anyone have any home made miracle acid reflux tips or temporary fixes?

I am having a flare up and don't have any omeprazole in the house until tomorrow and I can't face another night of throwing up the fiery balls of hell πŸ˜€

Rennie or gaviscon (if you have it or can pop to the shops - it’s usually on the shelves of anywhere that offers drugs)

Alternatively;

Ginger tea or a spoon of baking powder or chew gum. Also raise your head up in bed tonight!

More options here;

Hope something works for you!

I suffered from acid re-flux for years before I had my gallbladder removed. Before that I used to be on 40mg lanzoprozole a day I'm now on 15mg. During the bad times if I ran out of lanzoprozole, the only releaf I could get was to not eat after 6pm & not lay flat. I used to prop myself up into almost a sitting position & found this would help, if not then its Rennie or gaviscon, or anything with a high alkaline content to reduce the acid.
