I don't know for certain but I am sure they will be able to help you in some way. Try calling Asthma UK in the morning when the helpline opens again. They would be able to advise you. Good luck and hope you feel better soon. x

Thank you , now I’m not in uk , as this supposed to be my holiday...so I’m in hospital in Romania ...i had to call the ambulance because of the gastrointestinal bleeding ...now I’m better under treatment, but the doctor told me that in the future I have to totally avoid any oral pills...at least for some years ...

If you have had a gastrointestinal bleed then you need to see your GP when you return to the UK. Ask for as much information from the hospital as possible as to what has caused the bleed. Several years ago I had a duodenal ulcer and needed medication, oral tablets, to treat it. Bleeding is not always a side effect of tablets. Aspirin is a known cause of bleeding, but many oral pills do not cause this as they have a special coating. I later found out I had some allergies which may well have effected the ulcer adversely. I now take zantac everyday and use most normal oral medications without a problem.

Glad you are feeling better.
