Hi Radhi1234

There's more information at Allergy UK's website that might be useful: allergyuk.org/information-a...

And also on our website about food triggers: which mentions wheat: asthma.org.uk/advice/trigge...

Hope that helps,

Dita

Wheat allergy is not the same as gluten intolerance (Coeliac Diseases) or wheat intolerance. It is important to get medical help with the correct diagnosis.

Having said that you can get idea by the symptoms you have had from eating wheat. One of the problems with food allergies is that many food products contain things like wheat but with a differerent name. Wheat can appear in many foods as "starch".

I've checked on line and a rash can apparently be associated with a wheat allergy. The Mayo Clinic in the US is quite reliable for information - mayoclinic.org/diseases-con...
