Tip(??) Avamys - Nasal Polyps & Asthma

It 'seems' to be the case that a change in the way I use Avamys is (a) helping to maintain my sense of smell / taste and (b) (Possibly) improving my Peak Flow. If you use Avamys you might want to try this for a few weeks to see what effect it has.

It's simple. Take your usual dose of Avamys standing up, then 'immediately' lie on your bed with your head hanging off the edge so that, instead of the Avamys running back down your nostrils to drip on your chin, you allow it - for at least one full minute (I give it 90 Seconds) to reach, and remain, in the top of your nostrils. Note, don't just 'quickly' count to 60 (as the speed most people do that at amounts to only about 30 to 40 seconds) That's it. Hope it helps you.

Ref the Peak Flow Improvement, mine has been generally awful over the last few months (based on my age and body size). Even before that it wasn't that great. It's recently improved by at least 25%. However, there's quite a few things I'm no longer doing (plus some new stuff I've taken to doing).

For example, my ongoing 'research' (or rather, questioning of Dr. Google) has currently resulted in me adding Peanut Butter to my Dietary Regime 5 Days a Week + Half a Pint of Organic Milk Daily.

The Milk is to increase my calcium, to try and compensate for high dose Inhaled Steroids + Periodic use of Pred. As for the peanut butter, an Article on the benefits of Peanut Husks has resulted in me adding Whole Earth Peanut Butter to my Dietary Regime (I believe Whole Earth is an Organic Peanut Butter Brand that uses the entire Peanut (not just the de-husked part) but - as I write this - my Kitchen isn't near enough to check. (Yep, I'm Lazy).

As mentioned earlier, there's other stuff I'm doing (or no longer doing) so I can't say for sure that I'm on the right track with the dietary stuff mentioned above, however, there is growing evidence that Nuts (in general) are helpful for Asthmatics (And yes, I realise Peanuts are not actually Nuts, but the Peanut Husk Health Benefits I read about convinced me to, at least, experiment).
