Hi plasterken, I've recently changed from Fostair and See Bree to Trimbow, I'm not sure what is going on but I'm coughing loads with lots of mucus. The up side is my mouth is less dry!

Hi I’ve been on Fostair for a few years but since January have had 4 lots of antibiotics for a mucous cough, so bad I strained all my pelvic area. Just seen the Asthma nurse and have swapped to Fostair NEXTinhaler 200/6. Had a chest X ray and going for more tests. But after two days I feel better! Ten years ago I came off Seretide because of persistent cough with mucus.

I can't use aerosol inhalers, like Fostair, as the propellant seems to aggravate the mucous symptoms; I now use Symbicort Turbohaler, which uses dry powder. However, I'm not sure what the value of a combined inhaler like Fostair would be to someone with only COPD and no asthma (unless I read your post incorrectly)?
