Will piriton affect my asthma? My asthma is usually very mild, I take 1 fostair in the morn and 1 at night.

It shouldn't do cos it's a form of antihistamine

I've only just started on fostair myself this is my third week on it (it's working woo hoo) and I take fexofenadine 180mg and I haven't seen any issues it should actually help or prevent asthma issues, before fostair when I used to go to friends house with lovely dogs I would take piriton beforehand so I can cuddle them (even though I'm allergic I can't resist them but haven't seen or been anywhere with dogs lately so haven't tested it with fostair)

I'm guessing it's for hay fever I hope your not struggling too much I haven't had any sneezing yet luckily I think due to the increase in fexofenadine

Marcia C123 you should be fine with Antihistamines a lot of us take them for hayfever ect .I wasn't too sure at first, but the Dr prescribed for me and said it's ok with the Inhalers.

It has never affected my asthma, but everyone's unique. It does make me drowsy and sluggish so I take it before bedtime when needs be.
