Where can I buy 7% hypertonic Saline for Nebulizer?

I found one on ebay.....why 7% is it so expensive....will 0.9 % solution work compare to 7% to thin sticky mucus?

I have Modudose Saline Solution for Inhalation 0.9%....It doesn't say hypertonic.

Hi Sagittarius, well I don't know about the nebulizer you are talking about but the only thing I know about it is that there's 2.5mg & 5mg of ventolin nebules, it's only if you are comfortable you can add saline solution (water for injection, normal saline) to it otherwise it's fine on it's own. You can ask someone who is in the medical field for more advice.

I would strongly recommend you speak to your GP or asthma consultant regarding the use of saline nebs... the low dose is standard for either mixing under guidance with drugs or using to loosen up stuff. Hypertonic should only be used under strict guidance as it can cause broncoconstriction....!!!
