My asthma is still playing up’ I am back on prednisolone as my asthma has got bad again, I am on Baclofen and Dihydrocodeine, for Chosotocondritis. But the dr has gave me promethazine, to help with my sleep, the last time I took these, and they gave me a great sleep, but made me off balance the next day. Does anyone know if they are ok to take, with the previously mentioned medication. Thanks in advance

Hi I am not able to comment on your particular query regarding the drugs but just wanted to say I sympathise with you about the sleeping. I am in prednisone after a severe exacerbation set off with an infection a couple of weeks ago and I asked my dr for sleeping tablets and she said no as she felt my asthma exacerbation was too severe to risk taking sleeping tablets. Now taking prednisone in the morning so getting a little sleep now by just drifting off with the tv on a quiet program. Best wishes

Thanks. I’ve literally managed 3 weeks without steroids and I’m now back on them. Just waiting on appointment with a respiratory consultant.. xx
