Several attacks..

I don’t understand why I keep having attacks, I’ve had 5 in the last three months, been upped on beclometasone then upped again to Fostair 100/6 to see how I am on that for now , testing antihistamines to see if dust mites are triggering it yet my peak flow is 350 or below most days which is my red zone on my attack plan (peak flow my doc has told me to go by for my asthma) yet I’m actually wheezing a lot of nights which I never did, I’m quite concerned as I don’t want to up my meds and get hand shakes and all as I’m an artist , any advice at what it could be?

I hope you don't get too down and stressed about it. Can exacerbate things. I would clean and vacuum everything and check out info pages on internet to eliminate allergens :) Don't lose hope! X

Hi your experience sounds very similar to mine. I've had 7 admissions since September, with several of them being put down to pneumonia. However a number of mine had no obvious cause, and it is really starting to get me down. All I can say is don't lose hope, keep going back to your gp (especially if you get on with them) and don't worry about going to a&e if you need to. Best wishes.

If you get more attacks in winter time, might be an idea to check your vitamin D blood levels. Taking vitamin D3 has turned my husbands asthma around, but last wintertime his asthma came back so we upped his vitamin D3 and he was better again.
