Hello again, I must have filled the forum with my posts but I am really worried.. I am afraid if the worst.. did someone experienced after recurrent chest infection , upper chest wheezing/crackers, body aches, lung area pain, left shoulder, arm pain? Joint pain? Sinus and jaw pain? Two days ago blood tests and chest scan where ok , maybe slightly infection..I’m desperate .the Gp gave me again Co Amoxiclav -250 mg after one week ago I finished 7 day course of Clarythomicin...i sent yesterday a sputum test, and booked appointment on 9th feb to chest clinick..but until then I think I’ll get crazy thinking it could be something life threatening like lung cancer or so ...it would have seen it in the x-rays if there where signs of lung cancer?thank you for reading !

I think you are attributing far too many symptoms to your asthma, you haven't got lung cancer even a suspicion of it the doctor would call you in.

You might be "run down" do you live alone and no one to socialize with, because talking to friends might help

I really believe your problem is your anxiety, not your lungs. It is usual to get aches and pains after an attack, but they fade. I suspect your anxiety is prolonging the symptoms. If there were any slight sign of a cancer on your x-rays, you would be fast-tracked for further treatment. When you see your GP again, you might take the text of your post here with you, as it demonstrates how worried and fearful you are - not just about your physical health, but life generally. If you can, take someone with you to see the GP, as a calm friend can remember better the things you are told, or write down what the doctor says.

Thank you so much about your support! I had problems with anxiety before and I think now with the asthma and chest infection got back :) I’ll take your advice and talk with the Gp about this. Thank you !

Hi, When coming here, all you have done is express a desire to find out what’s going on with you’re own health. Only you will know what yo do with that info. I’m just saying that because it’s true, so you can relax about that. Even if it’s one little thing. You do sound like you have a severe case of anxiety. Of course that doesn’t mean you’re not feeling what you are, or how you are. I know because I lived with someone ho sounds so much like you do, it’s scary. My Mom. And she had such severe anxiety, that it got inthe way of her living, more than any disease she could have gotten. She felt for sure she was going to get lung cancer. I don’t know why she felt he deserved this, or why. But she was terrified of it at the same time. I’m not going into the whole thing here and now. And I don’t know you. But I just needed to reach out to you. You can ask me any questions if you want to. And I sure have my own problems, so I’m certainly understanding.

Good thinking, Memoc. Take your worries to your GP, with your post on here is a good idea. I expect you're run down from fighting bronchial infections.....they're very very tiring. And I know from my husband's experience that doctors are onto things like a shot if anything that needs immediate attention, like suspected lung cancer, shows up. And yes, it would show up on X-rays/CT scans. You're safe, but talk to your doctor about how you're feeling as you recover....and it will take a while. Good luck 😉

Hope this helps, I have 2 friends that are complaining of chest and joint pain, plus sinus pain. My wife is also in the same boat and none are asthmatic. I am and have recently joined the throng. Problem is there are several virus infections going around which seem to love asthmatics! May be worth mentioning this to your GP.
