Evening sorry all just in need of a rant. Have been admitted yet again. 7th time this year I think. Feeling rough from all the drugs (magnesium aminophillyn Nebs etc) nearly ended up in ITU this time round. Each attack seems worse than the last. Beginning to worry where it will end. Have don’t nothing but moan to my friends today feeling sorry for myself so feeling guilty for that. And worrying I might not get into work on Monday. Sorry rant over. Hope you are all as well as you can be. X

Hi Jenzzie 18 Your having an amazing tough time and you need to rant. Rant away get it off your'chest' no pond intended. It's so hard to see the wood through the trees when you are in it.

We are here I hope and pray that today is the day you get better and are able to get to the point of leaving hospital when the time is right. God bless my friend.

If you need to rant what better place than this site? There are 5 million asthma suffers so you are not alone, but I must admit you do seem to be having a rough time at the moment. This may sound a little daft, but have you considered meditation? I'm an old boy now but spent over 50+ years in Martial Arts and learned the art of Chi meditation, it helps me no end when I get a bad attack. Anyway just a thought, hope you feel better soon.

I teach and we have just started meditation with the whole school once a day. I have to say it does help with them. May look into it further. Xx

Be careful of TM, it's now very commercial and pricey. I sincerely believe anything that improves our well being should not include high charges.

Delighted you are on a nice pathway. My wife is a Chi Healer, the success she has had is quite amazing.... she's saved my bacon several times!!

Keep your chin up,

Nick xx

Sorry you’re having such a rough year, Jen. It’s a difficult time of year, when it changes like this, hopefully it will pick up for you soon. Big hug.

Thank you. I’m just filled with guilt at the moment. Not able to be there for my kids or husband. Just stuck in hospital thinking far too much x

Yes, trying not to feel guilty also. My husband spent yesterday decluttering my workroom for me and now has to stay up late to finish his own work. However, guilt is such an unproductive emotion, and stressful, and not useful to us or them. Try to do some meditation as Nick suggests, or listen to some soothing guided image meditation, that is going to help you get better much more quickly than worrying. I am good at worrying, so I know how really bad it is for us 😊. Try and turn your frustration into a rest. There’s a pass in the west of Scotland mountains called The Rest and Be Thankful. Perhaps try some meditation on things you can be thankful for. Like your husband and children. 😊

Do anything you can to stop worrying. Xxx
