I'm doing a study for Royal Brompton and have been given a niox vero machine, I've had severe uncontrolled Asthma all my life, on the niox I get below 20 what does this mean?

Anything 45 and under is good. It measures inflammation. Mine was 278 so I was admitted to Brompton for 10 days.

20 is good 😁

Patients with allergic airway inflammation generally have higher than normal levels of nitric oxide (NO) in their exhaled breath.1 By measuring the concentration of NO in an exhaled breath (fractional exhaled nitric oxide or FeNO), clinicians can evaluate allergic airway inflammation in patients with underlying asthma. 20 to 25 is low kind regards.

As a 'brittle' asmatic for 20 years, when no convenual treaments help, I',m short of time and oxegon now but curious about the treatment you refer too...any explaination/info appriciated, Asthma treament is very behind the time in Ireland..Thank you.
