Hi hope everyone is doing ok and surviving the cold damp mornings.

I've just had a run of bad nights for asthma and sleep. Am very tired , short of breath and just feel wobbley generally (I have GP next week).

Does anyone have any tips for just getting through the tiredness?

Xxx

Hi Emily, sorry to hear that you're having a bad time of it at the moment.

The only advice I can give is that if you feel the need to sleep during the day over the weekend, don't fight the urge, have a sleep. If you're feeling tired, your body is telling you it needs to have a rest, so give it what it wants. Asthma attacks are very tiring. Stay in the warm and dry and pamper yourself for a bit.

Hope you feel better soon.x

I ought perhaps to add to that that if things worsen and you think you will need medical help before you get the chance to see your GP you could try dialling 111.

Hello Emily-G just listen to your body, don't worry about the house work etc, take as many breaks as you can. I was trying to do too much, then developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 2012. I'm better now, but now I take things easy. As I said, listen to your body, be kind to yourself and have a good week.
