I have short breath all the time specially in the morning but without wheezing or cough. I feel breathless with cough only after exercise (without wheezing). I used a peak flow for 3 days and the variation was 15% but I didn't try it before and after exercise. I asked the pharmacist about a medicine for cough during exercise and he gave me Ventolin. When I tried it, my peak flow increased 15%. Today in the morning I used it again but it didn't work and I had breath shortness with cough. I didn't see a doctor until now. Is this asthma or something else?

Only a doctor could tell you, I'm afraid. You may have another kind of lung problem, such as COPD, but no-one on this site can diagnose. Get yourself checked by the medics.
Hi saraobaid
As reiterated on the thread if you think you have asthma, it's very important to make an appointment with your GP or asthma nurse so you can talk about your symptoms, go through your medical history and do some tests to see how your lungs are working. There's some more information on the tests and what to expect here: bit.ly/2qfBfGf
