I know exactly the feeling in my respiratory tract and scenario you describe. I had to see a Locum GP and he changed my life. He prescribed Furosemide, sold under the brand name Lasix. My Cardiologist said it's not necessarily because I have heart failure. I think the respiratory tract is in a constant state of inflammation so the Furosemide decongestant and now I can clear my lungs. My peak flow has gone up from 350 to 440. Do you get your peak flow measured and how is it for your age? Good luck.
