I sometimes feel like I have a lump in my throat which I can't seem to get rid, makes swallowing feel a bit comfortable, but apart from that and losing my voice if I have to take a lot in a short period of time, I don't seem to have any side effects.
I had throat/voice issues when my dose of symbicort was increased about nine years ago. I kept losing my voice. Eventually I was switched to a different type of inhaler and the problem went away.
I have throats issues with Symbicort, feeling like a lump is there all the time or swelling up . Also my voice goes and I get thrush too . It was worse when I was on the Symbicort 400 , dropped down to the 200 now but those issues every day . X
Many thanks for the reply. I am going to discuss changing to another inhaler when I see the doctor.
Hi Peldypix
We do hear about throat issues especially because it’s a dry powder and can irritate after using your inhaler – hence gargle and spit out. Here's a video about inhaler technique that might help: youtube.com/watch?v=2_6DvPw...
