I grew up in a tropical area where in some late summer we would have 100% humidity days. They said dryer climate was better for asthma. I moved to California coast - really dry summers. At first zero ashtma, after 3-5 years I acquired pollen allergies. So go figure!

I've heard all kinds of arguments for and against, and all I learned is there is no agreement. But change in season or weather is often trouble that seems logical. Hey if you're stuffy keep your sinus and nasal clear as well (flonase, qnasl, phenylephrine) it helps reduce asthma trigger for many of us.

Bottom line: They don't know what causes or cures it exactly, so you are your own personal lab.

Good luck!

Hi I am lucky as I live by the seaside and there is usually a good breeze. I hate it when it is muggy and humid as I can't breathe properly either. I am so glad I don't live in London anymore as the buildings there trap the heat and there is no air.

I hope you feel better soon.
