Hi all. Just arrived on this site. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the inhaler Seretide? I've been started on 125. Thanks

I used Seretide 250 for some years but my GP swapped it for Flutiform, for cost reasons, I think.

Yes its an old drug more cost and takes longer to work. I.e. 15/20 minutes but my very experience asthma nurse was happy to give it to me,

Hi Pjcy I'm on that one I found I had the jitters for a couple of days when I had this one increased from seretide 50 but it settled down.

I used to be on Seretide 250 but my GP changed it to Fostair because the Seretide became less effect for me.

Thanks guys. Feeling a bit shaky probably because I'm put straight unto 2*puffs twice a day. Have the old reliable ventolin by my side for 3 years now and luckily only have had to be nebulised 3 times to date with the most recent being yesterday before being introduced to seretide. 😀

I've been taking Seretide 250 - 2 puffs twice daily - for many years without any ill effects. I hope you can keep your asthma under control. And don't forget to keep your salbutamol with you at all times. Good luck, Rita.
