When ever I use either of my inhalers (preventer and/or reliever) I get a very croaky voice and "frog in the throat". I always rinse and spit after using any inhaler - any other tips that might stop my throat problem?

Hi
Have you got a spacehaler which you can attach your inhaler to. It is a clear oval shaped plastic container which you spray the medicine into then breath the contents through the end of the spacehaler. This stops you from taking the contents in one short burst which can stick to the throat and am get other things can prevent oral thrush with the powder inhalers. I use this with good results as this disperses the mist and ensures that much more reaches the lungs than being stuck on the back of the throat. The A and E doctor prescribed me one after my last free ride in an ambulance for an Asthma attack, your asthma nurse should be able to supply one.
