When a doctor checks you with a stethoscope would they be able to tell if your wheezy

Yes they listen to all the sounds that your lungs are making.

Hi, yeah the doctor can hear if your wheezy using a stethoscope but not everyone wheezes when having an attack so shouldn't be the only means of assessment

Well you dont have to have a wheeze to be unwell. You could have a crackle or anything really. But if your doctor is using the stethoscope then he/she should be able to hear what is going on in your chest and lungs as they normally check you front and back.
