Hi look online as there is info there regarding what your peak flow should be according to your age, height, sex etc. It's different for everyone so check this.
As far as using the blue inhaler again this is different for everyone. I have asthma and copd and get through one about every month. My respiratory nurse is happy with this. If you suspect you are using it too much then you might have to increase your preventer, but you must not do this unless you receive medical advice as it could be dangerous.

I'm not using it though? I'm scared and to be honest I don't really think that I've had problems with my asthma like that but when I see stuff online and look online I get scared like I am? I've got my asthma checkup but I've suffered with my chest for years I've had so many ecgs and stuff and I'm scared now I keep looking online

So you have asthma and a blue inhaler but don't use it? Why not? What are you scared of? This is not a dangerous drug you know and is the standard treatment for asthma to help you breathe better. But if you don't need it then fine.
Don't ask Dr Google or you will go from a mild headache to dead in 3 clicks. Only look at reputable sites such as the NHS one and asthma uk. .
Well yeah,why don't I use it because I'm scared? I don't no how to use it,what still use it when I'm feeling okay,and I do look on the NHS I get told not to because that can't diagnose you!
You should have been shown how to use your inhaler, have a word with your GP/Asthma Nurse. The blue inhaler is for when you are experiencing asthma symptoms, you do not need to take it all the time only when wheezy and breathless. Do you have any other inhalers that you have been told to take regularly. Do not fear your blue inhaler it can be a life saver

I don't really no nothing about asthma but I no I'm scared I spoke to the nirse the other day and she asked me questions and I said to her can asthma go and she said "yes"
Well you came on here posting questions so I have tried to answer them the best I can. It's of course totally up to you what you do. I have nothing more to say on the subject.
If I have a cold I use my blue inhaler about eight times a day. If I don't have a cold I don't use it at all.
My normal peak flow is about 650 which is way above average. You need to measure your peak flow every day for a while when you are healthy to get an idea of your own normal peak flow

If you have a preventer inhaler you should take that as specified by your doctor (for most people thats morning and evening) regardless of what symptoms you are experiencing. However you should take your reliever inhaler (ventolin) as required based on your symptoms. If you don't have symptoms then there is no need to take it. Ventolin is meant to aid when you have an acute flare up of symptoms to help bring them back under control.
There is a peak flow chart based on age, sex etc but peak flow is a very individual thing as well. If you have concerns or worries about your inhalers and peak flow you should speak to your asthma nurse.

You shouldn't take Ventolin unless you need to. Ventolin is for acute flare ups of symptoms. If you don't need to take it because you aren't experiencing symptoms then that is okay.
If however you are experiencing symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness then you may need to take it.
Yes your doctors should be able to take you peak flow, but you can get your own peak flow monitor for home. Its best to talk to your doctor about your concerns
