It's about time I introduced myself here.

I'm Kay, I've had asthma from childhood. I suffer from GORD too The last two years have seen a steady worsening of my condition.

I've had 6 hospital stays and around 20 courses of steriods and antibiotics for exacerbations and infections.

Just recently my consultant has changed my medication to Relvar Ellipta 184/22, Spiriva respimat, ventolin omeprozole and 20mg montelukast.

So far, I have had a huge improvement from my new inhalers.

Currently, I am suffering from a chest infection but for the first time I can remember my asthma hasn't been triggered by infection.

Anyway, that's enough about me. Really, I just want to say hello and say that I'm pleased to be a part of such a community.
