Hi Asthma friends

Wednesday was a killer^^ today was worse!! so 15mn on the bike, 15mn on the treadmill with a ubs key, going up and down, slow and fast, 2 lots of hercules bar, weighing 6 kilos pulling across for 5 mn, pulling down for 5 mn, then squeezing a ring, well my head was spinning!! that's how unfit I felt!! I felt better last year I think, saw the same ladies, had a chat and said is it getting better? she said no^^but make sure you rest and eat..I said ok see you next week!!

Sorry it wasn't so good for you today, I'd have struggled doing all that as well, keep your chin up, rest well and hopefully it will have improved the next time you go.All the best.x.

Hi there. You did well to try. You will improve I am sure. How does one keep mentally strong? How does the lymphangioleiomyomatosis affect you?

Thank you Aidi 😊

Well I have multiple cysts in both lungs, it is degenerative they grow but luckily mine are stable at the moment. So breathlessness and fatigue, elevated risk of pneumothorax. Rehab with cardio exercises is an important part of the treatment.

Keeping mentally strong? Acceptance first I would say like with asthma, not much I can do about it so get on with the things I can do. Meditation, relaxation, are good too. And I belong to an association so I'm not the only one and we share. It took me a while and I have only known for a year..

Hello Happy London.

Thank you for bringing brightness on this very grey morning in London and for sharing your story of pain, acceptance, hope and courage.

We deal with so much and shoulder so many burdens. It makes we think how much we must support one another and how life in every small moment is for living.

Thank you for being an inspiration greater than words.

Hi it did on Wednesday the physio said I was trying too hard so I didn't try too hard this time but I need time to recuperate between exercises I think at this stage but they push you on 😃

Hi did they explain to you about the Borg levels? Mine did. You get the maximum benefit from exercising to the point of being too breathless to sing but not too breathless to talk. Any less and you are not getting the full benefit. Any more and it doesn't do you any more good and might put you off exercising. x

She told me to breathe normally because my oxygen saturation was good I didn't need to exhale blowing the candles etc..she said just like when you walk to town so I did..still I felt like I had to do one exercise after the other the Friday one was more relaxed..
