Your blood pressure seems high & your pulse very high. You shouldn't stop taking any medication really without discussing it with a doctor & stopping asthma medication can be very dangerous. I think you should call NHS direct & get urgent advice.

All sorts can happen - what I'm more worried about though is your pulse rate, which seems way too high. Also if the lower number of your blood pressure tops 100, that starts to become dangerous so as I said, call NHS Direct for a chat.

Probably the best thing to do is take some peak flow readings. You can get one for about £5 at Boots & guides to understanding the readings online.

I think you should do that. Tell the reception about the difficulty you are having with your ribs, and your pumps. I think it is ok to ask to see a doctor. The nurse appointment (I guess the Asthma nurse?) seems too long for you to have to wait.

I think 111 might help if you feel you need help sooner but don't need A&E.

I usually prefer to talk to my doctor about my asthma but he prefers I should see the asthma nurse. I think it is ok to do both.

Any doctor or nurse you can see the sooner the better. You can always make an appointment for an asthma review later. But it seems as though you need help because of your ribs now before the 10th.

The relva ellipta might be available in a different inhaler type that is easier to breathe in with less force needed.

I hope it gets better, and remember it's ok to put yourself first.

sounds like you need an x-ray at your local hospital A&E dept.

Otherwise a doctor could maybe tell by examining but might suggest an X-ray anyway.

you should have gone to hospital when you hurt your elbow etc. It sounds like you really need to get some good advice, well done for getting an earlier appointment.
