Hi! I have just finished a course of antibiotics for a chest infection. However I am still coughing regularly, with this I am struggling to catch my breath. I have been given an asthma pump to help with a chest infection I had before. I have used a few times recently, but every time I cough I struggle to catch my breath each time. Do you think this could be asthma ?

Go back to your GP. It may be the infection hasn't cleared totally. You can also call the asthma helpline or the BLF Helpline and talk to one of the nurses on there and they will be able to help you before you manage to see your Doc. Unfortunately it may be a little too late to call them now and I don't think they are available over the weekend but check on the website to make sure.
