I'm new! Have Small Airways Disease.

Have difficulty breathing out. Breathless on exertion. On steroid and broncodilator inhalers. There isn't much written about this new label, but its associated with Asthma which I don't feel I have ever suffered from. Is there anyone else out there with this condition?

I've not heard of that diagnosis to be honest...it would be interesting to know what the difference is, especially as the treatment is the same.

I haven't heard of that diagnosis either, but my asthma nurse seems to think that my small airways are more of a problem and that is why I can have decent peak flows but not feel like I can breath very well. It would be interesting to know if there is a difference between small airways asthma and asthma in general because I usually have problems going to A&E because the doctor will say that I am ok when I am visibly out of breath. I wish there was more information on this.
